Members of the public are given the opportunity to voice opinions on how Spilsby could be improved at a public meeting on Monday 15 November, at the Franklin Hall at 7pm.
Councillor David Pleming said: “It is just a free discussion to ask the general public what they think about Spilsby and to think about how we can support the town. No subject is banned and we will welcome criticism so long as it is positive.”
The Spilsby Community-Led Town Plan Steering Group, chaired by Father Peter Coates, will be presenting the initial key findings from the town plan survey. Any reports on the town plan will be made available on this website as and when they are published.
Town Councillors will also explain to the public the role of the Town Council and what actually goes on at council meetings. It is encouraged that members of the public attend more standing Town Council meetings.
There are a number of other agenda items for the meeting, including the proposed sub-station to connect the Triton Knoll windfarm to the National Grid, and the engagement with young people in the town.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend to make their views known.
