A series of Dance Fit sessions are taking place around Spilsby, led by Community Dance Artist, Sam Sorrell.
The classes are fun, informal, exercise sessions based around various dance influences, ranging from Salsa and Caribbean to Disco and Jazz Dance styles. New routines are taught every week to keep the mind as healthy as the body.
The sessions are being supported by the District Council as part of its commitment to encouraging the community to become more active.
Sessions take place as follows:
Spilsby Pavilion – Dance Fit sessions for adults take place each Monday between 7.15pm and 8.15pm costing £4.50.
Irby and Bratoft Village Hall – Dance Fit sessions for those aged between 7 and 11 take place each Tuesday between 6pm and 7pm costing £3.50
Irby and Bratoft Village Hall – Dance Fit sessions for adults take place each Tuesday between 7pm and 8pm costing £4.50.
Spilsby, venue to be confirmed – Street Dance sessions for young people aged 8 and up commencing in April 2011 on each Wednesday between 5.30pm and 6.30pm costing £3.50.
Franklin Hall, Spilsby – Dance Fit session specifically aimed at retired people takes place each Thursday between 11.30am and12.30pm costing £2.50.
