A 42 year-old man from Skegness is critically ill after a collision on the A52.
Emergency services were called to the A52 at Friskney, at the Sea Lane Barley Mow junction, at 6.45pm on Tuesday evening (15 November) following a collision between a black Volkswagen Caddy van and a Yamaha 125 motorcycle.
The rider of the motorbike, a 42 year-old man from Skegness, was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital suffering from serious head, chest and leg injuries and he remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the Volkswagen is a 56 year-old man from Mareham On The Hill who received hospital treatment for minor injuries. The road was closed until approx 11.30pm.

Police would particularly like to speak to a blonde-haired young woman driving a dark coloured mini, who alerted police in the area to the incident and who may have been an important witness.
UPDATE:
The rider of the motorcycle sadly died on Wednesday evening. He has been named as Richard Parkin of Morris Gardens in Skegness.
