A Spilsby college student was crowned Lincolnshire County Cross Country Champion this weekend.
Blake Kenneally-Forrester, a student at King Edward VI Humanities College, came first in the U13 Boy’s race at Spalding on Saturday. Blake, representing the Coastal and Wolds team, took an early lead and managed to stay in pole position until the finish line.
Blake will now go on to represent Lincolnshire in the Anglian Cross Country Championships at Ipswich in February.
Mike Irving, Head of PE at King Edward VI, said, “I’m very proud of Blake’s win. He has been training extremely hard and is a real credit to the college. I’ve no doubt that he will do very well at the Championships in February”.
