Lincolnshire Police are appealing for information after an assault at a Spilsby pub on New Years Eve.
The incident occurred around 10.45pm at the Nelson Butt pub in Market Street and left a 21 year-old man requiring treatment for a head wound.
A 27 year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of assault and affray and was later released on police bail until 14 March whilst the investigation continues.
Anyone who was celebrating New Year’s Eve in the pub that evening, and who witnessed the incident, is asked to contact DC Graves by dialling 101 and asking for extension 4351. Report crimes anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
