A Spilsby man has been told to pay compensation after he damaged a car tyre for a dare.
Anthony Duke, 21, formerly of Spilsby but now living in Nottingham, admitted damaging the car tyre when he appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court.
The court was told that on 6vSeptember he scraped a nail along the tyre of a car parked in Spilsby causing £54 of damage, after he was dared by his brother.
The defence stated that Duke lacked maturity and had learning difficulties and should not have accepted such a dare.
Magistrates imposed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered him to pay a £15 victim surcharge, £40 in costs and compensation of £54.
