Spilsby’s Play Park has now reopened after being shut for renovation work.
The park, which is popular with local young children, has been closed since November after issues were identified with the safety of some of the equipment. Work has been undertaken to ensure the safety of the equipment and its’ users, including the removal of the monkey bars.
Whilst there is still some work to be done on the park, the Health and Safety issues have been rectified and the park reopened on Friday.
Spilsby Town Clerk Bonny Smith said: “There are still some items of repair which need attending to. These will be attended to in due course. The Town Council apologise for the disappointment to the children and parents who use the play area regularly during the period of closure.”
