Police Seeking For Information On Attempted Theft of ATM

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempted theft of an ATM in Wainfleet.

Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempted burglary that took place at the Co Op in High Street, Wainfleet, at approx 11.45pm on Tuesday 8 March. A high performance Audi RS4 estate (a 2006 to 2008 model), black or dark grey in colour, pulled up outside the ATM and four men exited the vehicle with a large stihl type saw which they then used to attack the machine.

No access was gained and no money stolen.

Anyone with information or who saw a similar vehicle in the Wainfleet or Thorpe Culvert area should contact Police Station on 0300 111 0300 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
