A former paratrooper who now writes military fiction has supported wounded soldiers with a donation from the proceeds of a recent novel.
Local author Ed Lane presented a cheque from the profits of his thriller ‘Terrible Beauty’ to the Parachute Regiment Charity at Spilsby Royal British Legion’s December meeting.
Ed said: “The paracharity does great work on behalf of wounded and injured paras and I’m proud to be able to support it in my small way.”
The novelist also donated to a military charity with the proceeds of his previous novel ‘A Circling of Vultures’ and will do the same with his newest release.
‘The Lunatic Game,’ a military thriller about an undercover soldier on a mission to find an IRA bomb-maker, has been dedicated to the Royal British Legion, which will receive a donation for each book sold.
