Emergency services were called to Middlemarsh Road in Burgh Le Marsh yesterday afternoon (Monday) at 4.45pm after a Honda trike left the carriageway and the rider was thrown into a ditch. A 42 year-old man from Mablethorpe was airlifted to Pilgrim Hospital in Boston suffering from head and spinal injuries and a leg fracture. His condition is described as serious but stable.
