Spilsby’s annual Christmas Market and lights switch-on event has been cancelled due to poor weather, but a local Scouts group has stepped in to organise an impromptu indoor Christmas Fayre.
Communities are coming together today to make it a Christmas to remember for pensioners, the lonely and those simply deserving a good party. Spilsby Primary School’s “Countdown to Christmas” appeal has helped to support local families in need this Christmas. The appeal, organised by the Spilsby Primary School PTFA, collected tinned and packet food, toiletries, nappies and other items.
