Fire crews from across the area tackled a major house fire in Old Bolingbroke last night, Saturday April 25.
Seven crews and an aerial platform were used to tackle the blaze which damaged the roof of the property as well as a bedroom and landing.
The top floor of the house also suffered extensive smoke damage.
It is believed the fire was caused by a lightning strike.
