Anglian Water has confirmed the hosepipe ban will be lifted on Thursday, but saving water will still remain a high priority. Exceptionally wet weather since the start of April has boosted flows in many rivers and largely refilled reservoirs hit hard by the two-year-long drought.
Local residents are being reminded that, despite the current rainfall, the hosepipe ban is due to start on 5th April. The ban will be effective for all domestic customers across the Anglian Water area.
