Spilsby Town Council has voted not to go ahead with improvements to the Town’s Christmas Light Display, but will be replacing faulty footpath lighting. Play Area Refurbishment Under Way

The playground in Spilsby is to re-open soon after renovation work has been completed. The play area on Ancaster Avenue, which is safety inspected annually by RoSPA, had been identified to have a number of Health and Safety issues which would need addressing immediately, which meant the Council closed the play area until the necessary works had taken place. Five-A-Side Pitch Damaged

Damage has been caused to the Five-A-Side Football enclosure in Spilsby. Police have reported that the wire chain link rence surrounding the five-a-side football pitch on Ancaster Avenue in the town was damaged in order to gain access to the grounds at some point between 7:30pm on Friday (20 February) and 7:20am on Saturday(21 February).  The offenders then proceeded to light a small fire in the area near the goal posts damaging the area.
