Spilsby will be kicking off its’ Christmas season with its’ “Once Upon a Christmas in Spilsby” event. The festivities begin with Spilsby Rotary’s Cracker Day from 10am to 2pm in the Franklin Hall. At 2pm you are invited to join us in singing Christmas Carols around the Franklin Statue. The mayor of Spilsby, Peter Grant has welcomed the installation of extra CCTV cameras in the town. Plans for a bigger market in Spilsby – extending onto the Buttercross –  have been confirmed by East Lindsey District Council. From Monday, November 12, 2012, East Lindsey District Council will be adding 13 extra stalls to the Buttercross car park on a trial period after an increase in demand for stalls from traders.
