Independent candidate Alan Hardwick has been chosen as Lincolnshire’s first police and crime commissioner (PCC). He beat David Bowles, of the Campaign to Stop Politicians Running Policing, after second preference votes were counted as neither managed to get 50% of votes. Local residents are being reminded to use their vote in the inaugural Police and Crime Commissioner Election next week. The election, which is the first of its’ type in the country, is taking place on Thursday 15 November.  Polling cards have been distributed to voters.
