Independent candidate David Mangion has been elected as the District Councillor for Spilsby ward, with Jim Swanson re-elected as District Councillor for Halton Holegate ward. Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward after a local woman is seriously injured after a collision on the outskirts of Spilsby. The collision occurred on the road between Spilsby and Halton Holegate around 3pm on Wednesday (15 June) and involved a 40-year-old local woman and a 70-year-old man from Horncastle.
