Lincolnshire’s Household Waste Recycling Centres are set to accept recycling, garden waste and general waste on any opening day from 8 March, but the booking system will remain.
Household Waste Recycling Centres across Lincolnshire will soon be able to accept more types of waste, including cardboard, glass, and bagged waste.
Lincolnshire County Council have announced that the Household Waste Recycling Centres are to reopen on 18th May, but for garden waste and wood only to start with.
East Lindsey District Council’s Green Waste collection will finish for the winter during the two week period following November 11. From March 31, 2014, the Council will be launching fortnightly Green Waste Collections at a cost of £25 per year for 25 collections over 50 weeks. As household waste can increase during the festive season, East Lindsey District Council is encouraging local people to continue recycling as much of their waste as they can. Christmas cards, wrapping paper and cardboard can be put into the grey recycling bin. Glass bottles can be taken to the various recycling banks sited across the District.
