Green Waste collections due to end for winter

East Lindsey District Council’s Green Waste collection will finish for the winter during the two week period following November 11. From March 31, 2014, the Council will be launching fortnightly Green Waste Collections at a cost of £25 per year for 25 collections over 50 weeks. Council Re-Issues Advice On Grey Bins

Householders are reminded to be aware of what they can, and can’t, put into their grey recycling bin to avoid them being refused on collection days. Council Issues Festive Recycling Advice

As household waste can increase during the festive season, East Lindsey District Council is encouraging local people to continue recycling as much of their waste as they can. Christmas cards, wrapping paper and cardboard can be put into the grey recycling bin. Glass bottles can be taken to the various recycling banks sited across the District.
