Lincolnshire Police have issued a warning on car crime in and around Alford. It has been reported that a number of vehicles have been broken into recently and Police are requesting that owners remove all valuables, including Sat-Navs, CDs, MP3 players and laptops, when leaving their vehicle – even if only for a few moments.
Over the next few weeks Police Cadets will be patrolling the area and identifying vulnerable vehicles where owners have left valuables on display. Crime Prevention advice will be offered to vehicle owners.
