East Lindsey Live, a calendar of exciting sporting, heritage and cultural events to showcase the District and attract visitors, has been officially launched with East Lindsey District Council announcing that 39 local events and venues have received accreditation and will be complemented by a programme of street theatre and cultural events in the district’s market towns, which include the visit of the Lionheart Project.
High profile events at venues such as Cadwell Park and Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre have been accredited as have smaller productions such as Horncastle Young Stages, the Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival and Louth Film Club.
All accredited events will receive marketing support and inclusion on the new East Lindsey Live website.
The local events, all of which enhance education and lifelong learning; grow the local economy; improve health and wellbeing; and create volunteering and community involvement opportunities, feature in a broad programme of free art and cultural events, with some of the UK’s best artists, musicians, dancers and street theatre performers also set to visit East Lindsey.
East Lindsey Live is still seeking events to add to its exciting and diverse programme.
Events accredited to East Lindsey Live receive considerable marketing support, including a page on the official website and are able to use the East Lindsey Live logo on their own marketing material to highlight that they are a high quality event that will enhance education and lifelong learning; grow the local economy; improve health and wellbeing; and create volunteering and community involvement opportunities.
