Local Groups Awarded Grants

Local groups in Spilsby, Old Bolingbroke, East Keal, Irby and Bratoft have received over £1,300 in the latest round of councillor community initiative grants.

The community initiative grant scheme allows East Lindsey District Councillors an amount of money each year which they can award to local groups and organisations.

Councillor Roderick Williams (Spilsby ward) granted Spilsby Junior Football Club £500 to buy new kit, football and training equipment.

Councillor Jim Swanson (Halton Holegate ward) gave The Friends of Bolingbroke Castle £250 to help them with funding for a 1643 re-enactment event, and £153 to East Keal Parish Council towards printing costs.

In Irby and Bratoft, Councillor Pauline Cooper (Croft ward) awarded £500 to the Village Hall to buy and install a cooker.
