Two people have been arrested on suspicion of affray, assault and criminal damage offences following an incident of disorder in Spilsby.

The incident occurred in the Cornhill and Market Place areas on the evening of Wendesday 12 March and involved a large group.

The two people arrested are local males aged 21 and 16 and both have since been bailed while enquiries continue.

Neighbourhood Sergeant Alasdair Booth said, “Incidents of fighting or disorder will not be tolerated. Spilsby is a small market town and such incidents naturally cause alarm within the community. If anyone has any information about the incident and they haven’t already spoken to officers, they should call us on 101, quoting incident number 442 of 12 March”.
