Police appeal for information after mobility scooter theft

Police are appealing for information about the theft of a mobility scooter in Spilsby.

Between 12.35pm and 4.10pm on Tuesday 18 August, a Blue Sterling Swift mobility scooter was stolen on Boston Road in the town. The victim of the theft left the sccoter chained to a bus stop sign but when they returned, the chain had been cut and the scooter stolen.

Any witnesses to the theft, or anyone being offered a similar sounding scooter for sale under suspicious circumstances, is asked to contact PC 493 Aaron Thorpe at Horncastle Police Station.
