There is one week to go until the start of the festive season in Spilsby, with the new lights being switched on at the event on Saturday 30th November 2019.
The event is aiming to build on the success of the last few years, expanding to include new attractions for the event.
Starting at 1pm there will be the usual Christmas market as well as a mini fun fair with vintage children’s carousel, swing boats, hook-a-duck and much more.
The brand new lights, which were originally to be installed for last years’ event but could not be done due to supply error, will be switched on at 5pm by the Town Crier, and Mayor of Spilsby, Councillor Terry Taylor.
There will be live entertainment during the day with local singers, a puppet show and Skegness Silver Band.
We have also been informed that Santa and Mrs Clause have made time in their busy schedule to join us in the town on their sleigh!
More details will be published on our Christmas in Spilsby page as they are announced.
Santa will also be visiting Stickney and Spilsby in December, assisted by Spilsby Firefighters. For more information check out our Christmas in Spilsby page.
