Terry Taylor to continue as Spilsby Town Mayor

Councillor Terry Taylor is to continue as Mayor of Spilsby and Chairman of the Town Council after the Council’s Annual Meeting.

Councillor Taylor was voted back in by a majority of the Council, after a year affected by Covid-19, with Councillor Keziah Wood the only other nomination. Councillor Tom Kemp was also voted in as the Deputy Mayor of the Council after receiving the most number of votes in a three-way vote, with Councillors Wood and Gibson also nominated.

Items on the agenda included the Council setting the responsibilities of Councillors, membership of committees, and the Council discussed Community Speedwatch, a commemorative plaque to Sir John Franklin, as well as ongoing issues surrounding the partial collapse and rebuilding of the Church Wall.
