The names have been released for the candidates in the Lincolnshire County Council election.
In the Spilsby Fen ward, incumbent Jim Swanson will face a challenge from four other candidates including former County Councillor Julia Pears who is standing as an Independent as well as Victoria Ayling – who recently defected from the Conservatives at East Lindsey.
Other areas covered in the Spilsby Online area include the Horncastle and Tetford ward in which incumbent Bill Aron also faces a challenge from four other candidates; Ingoldmells Rural ward where Colin Davie faces a challenge from two other candidates and Wainfleet and Burgh ward where Neil Cooper also faces two challengers.
The election is due to take place on 2nd May 2013 and the polling cards are currently being distributed. The deadline for voter registrations for this election is Wednesday 17 April 2013.
