Skegness Man Seriously Injured After Vehicle Leaves Road

A 19 year-old local man from Skegness is seriously injured after the Land Rover he was in left the road and ended up in a field.

Emergency services were called to Ashby Road shortly before 8pm on Thursday 21 August, where a blue Landrover Defender had left the road, ending up on its roof in a field.

The man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, suffered spinal and chest injuries and is in a serious condition in Boston Pilgrim Hospital.

The driver is a 20 year-old man from Ashby By Partney, who was not seriously injured.

The road was reopened by 2am.
