East Lindsey District Council have reminded locals that Green Bin collections will return shortly.
People living in the area are being asked to check their waste calendar online or to contact the Council’s Customer Service Team to request a calendar if they can’t access the internet.
The first green bin collection for each home will the collection on or after March 26, 2012.
The Green Bin is for green waste and can be used for the following items but residents are reminded not to pack their bin too tightly:
Grass cuttings
Leaves
Plants
Twigs and Sticks
Prunings
Cut flowers
The District Council is encouraging the use of home composters, which are available at subsidised rates by calling 0845 130 6090 and online at www.lincscc.getcomposting.com
