Children are invited to come along to Spilsby Library to sign up for their fun-packed Marvellous Summer Reading Challenge.
Starting from 8 July and running through to 4 September the Summer Reading Challenge is a free holiday activity encouraging children aged 4-11 to read for fun, aiming at improving children’s reading skills and confidence.
The challenge is free to take part, with children borrowing six books over the summer holidays with rewards for every two books they read. Everyone who completes the summer reading challenge will receive a medal and a certificate, as well as being entered into a free prize draw to win a hamper filled with £50 worth of crafting treats.
Spilsby Library is located inside the Lincolnshire Coop Food Store on Post Office Lane. The opening times are:
- Monday: 9 am to 12 pm, 1 pm to 3 pm
- Tuesday: 9 am to 11.30 am, 1 pm to 5 pm
- Wednesday: 9 am to 11 am, 1 pm to 4 pm
- Thursday: 11 am to 5 pm
- Friday: 9 am to 1 pm
