A 42-year old local man has been arrested in connection with a fatal road collision involving a teenage girl.
Emergency services were called to the B1196 Hanby Lane at Welton Le Marsh, near Spilsby, at 12.15pm on Saturday following a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a Renault Clio.
The deceased teenager is a 14 year-old girl from Willoughby. The driver, a 42 year-old man from the same area, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving whilst over the alcohol limit and for causing death when over the prescribed alcohol limit. He has since been released on police bail until a date in October, pending further enquiries.
Also in the vehicle were a 36 year-old man who was the front seat passenger and the injured 13 year-old boy. He remains being treated at Hull Royal Infirmary.

The 14 year-old girl who, was killed in a road traffic collision at Welton Le Marsh on Saturday 4 August, has been named as Kayleigh Lawrie from Willoughby.
Kayleigh’s mother and grandparents have released the following tribute:
Kayleigh was a bright, happy, bubbly and loving 14 year old, who lived life to the full. She loved animals, which included her rag doll cat, Sapphire, and her dog, Luna.
Kayleigh was strong willed and knew what she wanted out of life. Kayleigh loved fashion and wasn’t afraid to experiment with her looks, although it often got her into trouble with school. She was good at French and loved cooking, especially cup cakes.
Kayleigh will be missed and loved always by all who knew her.
