A minute’s silence was paid as a mark of respect for a former mayor and town councillor of Spilsby who sadly passed away.
During the full town council meeting held on November 22, councillors remembered the life of their former colleague Gerald Rose.
Mayor of Spilsby Councillor Michael Lenton advised the council of the funeral details which will take place on Friday, December 7 at 11am in St James’s Church, Spilsby.
The cremation will take place at Alford Crematorium and a wake will take place afterwards in Spilsby with details set to be confirmed.
