Police Appeal For Witnesses To High Toynton Collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision on the A158 near High Toynton yesterday.

The collision took place at about 4:55pm on Wednesday 26th October 2011 on the A158 Horncastle Road, High Toynton. A blue Rover car was in collision with a silver Suzuki Alto.

The Rover was driven by a 63-year-old woman from Hagworthingham who was the sole occupant of that car. She was taken to Lincoln County Hospital with back and ankle injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

The Suzuki was driven by a 68-year-old Horncastle man and was also carrying three 12-year-old boys. They were taken to Lincoln County Hospital with minor injuries.

The road re-opened at 7:15pm.
