Royal Mail will be undertaking a survey in the Spilsby area to increase the accuracy of their database of postcodes.
The survey will enable Royal Mail to increase the accuracy of the databases which are sometimes used by companies, such as Sat Nav manufacturers and delivery companies, to help locate addresses.
The survey will require Royal Mail employees to visit various locations around the area with handheld equipment, which may look like a camera but takes no photographs, to pinpoint addresses. Each employee will carry identification should you have any queries, but Royal Mail state that no access to properties is required as part of the process.
