Part of the A16 near Driby Top is closed after a serious road collision. This is likely to have an impact on anyone travelling from the Spilsby area towards Louth and Grimsby.
Police are currently attending the scene of the accident between two vehicles on the A16 near to Driby Top which occured at around 2.45pm today. Driby Top is located between the Ulceby Top roundabout and Swaby.
Police have stated that it does appear to be a serious road traffic collision and the road has been closed. Traffic has been diverted towards South Thoresby and Aby. These roads are not designed to cope with the heavy traffic that the A16 handles so it is recommended that you choose an alternative route until the road is re-opened.
