Fishing fans in Spilsby have been invited to take advantage of a new angling shop, which recently opened in the town.
Spilsby Angling Centre on Market Street stocks a wide range of fishing related goods including bait, tackle and other essential items.

Shop owner Tony Measures said he is hoping to ‘cater for all ages and abilities with prices to suit’.

The Mayor of Spilsby Coun Michael Lenton has welcomed the new shop, as a keen fisherman himself, and hopes it will inspire local people to take advantage of the ‘wonderful’ range of fishing lakes available in the town.

He said: “The shop is incredibly well stocked – you can barely move for angling paraphernalia.

“Tony is going to give it his best shot and it just needs the public to support it.  There are five lakes in Spilsby so there’s a great opportunity for the town’s fishing fraternity to take advantage.”
