Spilsby’s White Hart Hotel is due to go under the hammer later today after months of sitting empty.

The Hotel, situated across from the Franklin Statue in the town centre, has a guide price of £150,000.

The building, which is Grade II Listed and dates from the 17th Century, has been subjected to repeated vandalism and the downstairs is currently boarded up.

The Hotel, despite its’ past popularity, has remained vacant for quite some time.

Auctioneers have stated that the building may suit an owner occupier or an investor.

Update:

The White Hart Hotel received bids of £145,000 and was referred, which means the bid will be referred back to the owners for a decision.
