Boston Road in Spilsby has been reopened after a reported suspicious device outside one of the properties was cleared.

Police evacuated buildings and placed a cordon on Boston Road between Old Market Avenue and Vale Road until the Explosive Ordnance Unit (EOD) attended the scene. Parts of Church Lane, Nelson Way, and Old Market Avenue were also closed.

The road was reopened just before 1 pm after the device, which is not believed to have been explosive, was removed.
