Three men have been arrested in Wainfleet for drug offences following the execution of warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
On Wednesday 22 June, officers searched a property on the Queens Estate in Wainfleet and discovered a number of mature cannabis plants. A 40 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a controlled Class B substance and was taken to Skegness Police Station for interview. He was subsequently released on bail until 26 July.
The following day, a warrant was executed at an address in Matt Pitts Lane in Wainfleet and 15 mature cannabis plants were found being grown in the rear garden.
Two men from the address, aged 21 and 23, were arrested on suspicion of production and later bailed to a date in October pending further enquiries.
A fourth man, aged 40, from Barton Road, Wainfleet, was cautioned for possession of cannabis after a quantity of the drug was discovered at his address by Police who were carrying out a routine multi-agency visit with housing officers.
