King Edward VI Humanities College has recently been successful in being re-assessment as an Investor in People. This success reflects the College’s commitment and effort of everyone employed there.
The assessment was carried out by EMB Excellence Limited on 4th and 5th of July. 22 staff were interviewed as part of the process and the 39 evidence requirements to achieve the standard were met.

There is a great team spirit here.
The whole culture of the College is about involving people so that we all know what we have to do to achieve targets.
We believe that learning and development are important for everyone, be that students or staff.
There is a culture of support within the College.
We are a good college and will remain a good college in the future. We develop the whole child and that is really important.
Head of the College, Mrs Reeve commented: “We are delighted to retain the award of Investor in People. Highly motivated staff are essential in a successful college and we are proud of our staff commitment to the development of the young people in our care.”
