Officers from the Burgh and Wainfleet Neighbourhood Policing Team are holding two ‘Mark It at the Market’ sessions on Saturday 16 February.
They will be at Burgh Le Marsh Market Place between 10am and noon then at Wainfleet Market Place from 1pm until 3pm.
PCSO Jayne Richardson said, “We’re inviting local people to bring along their mobile phones, sat nav, bikes or any portable valuables and have them property coded for free. Items that are lost or stolen so often cannot be reunited with the rightful owners but a simple thing like postcode marking can make all the difference”.
Members of the public will also be able to obtain crime prevention advice and information as well as learning more about Lincs Alert, the community messaging system.
