Local organisations delivering community projects in the area may be eligible to apply for a Community Grant from East Lindsey District Council.
The Council’s ‘Large Community Grants’ provide a potential source of 50% grant funding of between £1,001 to £8,000 to ‘Not for Profit’ organisations delivering community projects in the area.
The grant scheme can support a various activities with ‘capital’ and ‘revenue’ grant funding, eligible activities includes but is not limited to: Community buildings, Sports and recreation projects, Heritage projects, Community arts projects, Community events and ‘Support and advice’ type projects.
The scheme is open to formally governed ‘Not for Profit’ organisations, including:
Town and Parish Councils
Constituted Community Groups
Sports Clubs
Registered Charities
Social Enterprises
Parochial Church Councils
The Council’s Community Grants Team is holding a series of workshops across the District to provide information and advice to groups interested in applying for a Community Grant. The nearest workshops are being held in Alford, Sibsey, Horncastle and Skegness.
The closing date for applications is 17 September 2015.
