Three men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary following an incident in Spilsby.
Police were called to an address in Spence Street shortly after 10pm on Wednesday 19 January in response to reports of a burglary in progress. Two men were arrested at the scene and a third located a short time later in a neighbouring street.
The men are a 17 year-old from Grimsby, a 19 year-old from Alford and a 19 year-old from Spilsby. All three were taken to Skegness Police Station where they will be interviewed.
Residents are advised to ensure that they lock windows and doors properly overnight and when going out, and to take precautions even when in the house during the day to avoid sneak-in thieves. If you see something suspicious, please contact the Police by ringing 999.
