Fatal Collision near Spilsby

A 53 year old local man has died in a fatal collision near East Kirby on Saturday evening.

Emergency Services were called to the A155, Main Road, East Kirkby near Spilsby about 1740 on Saturday evening where a grey Jaguar car had been in collision with a red Ducati 1,000 cc motor cycle. The rider of the motor cycle, a 53 yr old local man was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police do not expect to name the victim until tomorrow (Monday). The driver of the Jaguar, a 56 yr old man from Cambridge was arrested for causing death by careless driving and later released on police bail pending further police enquiries.
