A Cambridgeshire man has been arrested in Spilsby, following the reported theft of a Isuzu vehicle from Bardney, on Thursday afternoon. The man, Glen Michael Norman, aged 26 from Somersham in Cambridge has been charged by Lincolnshire Police with taking a vehicle without consent, failing to stop, driving whilst disqualified, driving without relevant insurance and possession of a Class B drug. Mr Norman will appear at Skegness Magistrates Court today (2nd December).
Police have released the name of the motorcyclist killed at East Kirkby on Saturday. He has been named as David Blackburn from West Keal. The accident occurred at about 17:40 on Saturday evening on the A155 near East Kirby. The driver of the other vehicle involved, a 56 year old man from Cambridge, was arrested for causing death by careless driving and released on police bail.
