Hi, my name is Millie. I have been practicing Yoga for 6 years and over that time I have learnt how big of an impact taking care of yourself can have on your overall self-value. I wanted to share how that felt with others, so with a vision in mind, I qualified as a Registered Certified Yoga Teacher (RCYT) in February 2021. I now teach 1-2-1 sessions at the homes of my students. The “at home” element of the sessions allows for the classes to be focused purely on the intentions of the student as an individual. Being in the comfort of a familiar environment can take away that daunting fear of judgement that often comes with group classes.
The programmes that I build for my students analyse and take apart the obstacles that they may be facing, guidance from an outside perspective can help to re-frame a self-critical mindset. Furthermore, a student’s physical abilities and restrictions are not only taken into consideration but worked alongside with where necessary.
