The weather has provided a fine, sunny – but blowy – day for the Spilsby May Day Festival.
Kicking off at 11am the day features many stalls from a variety of local businesses and charities as well as music and entertainment for all the family.
Children’s rides, candy floss and donuts are on offer in the Buttercross car park, as well as a barbecue being manned by staff from the Centrepiece.
Visitors were welcomed to the event by Councillor David Pleming, Mayor of Spilsby, which was followed by a service from Canon Peter Coates.
Many other events are planned for the day which seems destined to be viewed as a success for local businesses, residents and visitors alike!
