A cycle safety competition organised by the Neighbourhood Policing Team officers in Spilsby and Wainfleet has been won by ten year-old Bethany from Friskney All Saints Primary School.
Children in the area’s schools were asked to design a poster aimed at raising awareness of the importance of cycle safety.
Beat Manager, PC Matt Dickinson, said, “The judges chose Bethany’s entry as it demonstrated a clear understanding of safety issues and it was very artistic in its design. She had evidently put a great deal of time and effort into her poster”.
Bethany was awarded a certificate and gift vouchers as a prize at a special assembly in school.
