The Battle of Britain Lancaster Bomber was the star of the show at the return of the Spilsby Show.
The weather started cloudy, dry but warm and as the weather warmed up so did the Spilsby Show. Back after one years’ absence due to the appalling weather last year the Show was back – bigger and better than ever.
Spilsby Show is an ever-popular event in the Lincolnshire calendar but this year the Show seemed to attract more visitors that ever but still remained pleasant to walk around – unlike some other events. All the usual stalls and events were in place, as well as a host of new ones.
The turnout was particularly impressive due to the event being held on the same day as one in Louth.
The icing on the cake for the event was the visit of the Battle of Britain Lancaster Bomber which flew over the Show at around 4.30pm.
