Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of GBH in Spilsby.
The incident occurred between 5.30pm and 6pm on Monday 14 October, in the area of the old theatre on Church Street or Pools Lane.
The victim, a 54 year-old local man, suffered facial fractures and was treated at Boston Pilgrim Hospital.
Four men, aged 21, 26, 27 and 42, have been arrested in connection with the incident and bailed until January 2014, while enquiries continue.
