Community groups in Spilsby and surrounding villages will be able to get free funding advice and support at a new community group surgery run by Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service.
Groups will be able to have a chat with the Community Development team to get tailored support for their local projects, from helping to source funding and applications to information about setting up groups and making sure you have the right policies in place.
Adam Dixon, Community Development Officer said: “Whether you need £200 to run a community event or £50,000 to refurbish a village hall, we can help you to find and apply for funding.
“After having a talk about your project over a cup of coffee we’ll point you in the direction of appropriate funders and help you throughout the application process to give your bid the best chance of success.
“We encourage any group in the area to come along and find out how we can help you.”
The Spilsby Community Group Surgery will take place between 1pm and 4pm on Thursday December 5 at the New Life Centre, Church Street, Spilsby.
Groups are requested to book their timeslot prior to the event by contacting the Community Development team on 01507 613080 or by emailing adam.d@lincolnshirecvs.org.uk.
